p. 02Designing
No. Add your photos and press Build it for me. Memori puts them in the order they were taken, starts a new chapter after a break of more than a day and a half, leaves out near duplicates and gives the best shots more room. You can ask for fewer, bigger photos, a balanced mix, or more photos on each page.
What you get is a first draft. Every page can be changed afterwards, and if you'd rather go back, you can undo it.
Yes, any time. A new theme changes the type, colours and photo frames everywhere in the book. Your photos and words stay where they are.
Pick another layout, change the background colour or use a photo as the background, add text and ornaments, and crop, zoom, frame or filter any photo. You can also add pages, duplicate them, remove them and drag them into a different order.
Softcover books have 20 to 100 pages, hardcovers 20 to 120 and lay-flat books 20 to 60. Pages are added and removed two at a time.
Yes. While you design, you can switch between softcover, hardcover and lay-flat, change the size and choose matte or lustre paper. The price of your book updates as you go.
Yes. Preview shows your book closed, as a 3D book you can turn around, and then opens it page by page. While you design, you turn pages by dragging the bottom corner or with the arrow keys.
Yes, the designer works on phones as well as computers. If you start on one and want to finish on the other, sign in with your Sticksy account.
p. 03Photos and print quality
JPEG, PNG, WebP and HEIC, the format iPhones use. Files that aren't photos we can print are skipped, and Memori tells you how many.
In the designer, choose From your phone. Scan the code that appears with your phone's camera, tap the link and pick your photos. Keep the designer open on your computer and the photos appear in your tray as they arrive. Each code works for two hours.
Memori checks every photo against the size of its frame. If a photo doesn't have enough pixels for that size, you'll see a warning that it may print soft or blurry, and you can make the frame smaller or choose a larger photo. Photos that may be out of focus are marked in your tray too.
When you press Order, Memori goes through every page and lists anything worth a second look: photos still uploading, empty photo frames, photos that may print soft or blurry, text that doesn't fit its box or sits too close to the edge, photos that run into the fold in the middle, and blank pages. Show me takes you straight to each one.
Build it for me keeps the better of two near duplicates and leaves the other out. In your tray, photos that look a lot like another one are marked, so you can choose for yourself.
p. 04Ordering and checkout
Press Order in the designer. After the check, confirm that you've looked over the spelling, dates and photos, and add the book to your cart. Memori then prepares the print files, which can take a few minutes for a big book, so keep the tab open until it's done.
You pay through Sticksy's secure Shopify checkout.
Sticksy does, in-house. Memori is part of Sticksy, and your order goes through the same store and account as any Sticksy order.
Shipping options and prices for your address are shown at checkout, before you pay.
It depends on the binding, size, paper and number of pages. The pricing page lists every option, and the designer shows the price of your book as you change it.
Sign in with your Sticksy account and open Account. Each Memori order shows how far along it is, from printing to shipped, with a tracking link once it's on its way.
The print files are made from the same layout you see in the designer, so photos, text and their positions match what you approved. Colours on paper can look a little different from a bright screen.
p. 05Accounts and drafts
No. You can start a book straight away and it saves in this browser. Sign in with your Sticksy account whenever you like, and the projects you started are added to it.
Yes. Memori uses your Sticksy account, so if you already have one there's nothing new to sign up for.
Yes. Changes save a moment after you make them, and the top of the designer tells you when everything is saved. If your connection drops, Memori keeps trying.
Yes, once you're signed in. If the book was changed somewhere else while you had it open, Memori asks which version you want to keep.
In My projects. You can open, rename, copy or delete them from there.
p. 06Calendars
No. Pick any month and year to start, and the calendar runs for twelve months from there.
Choose Canadian holidays, US holidays or none. You can add dates of your own too, like birthdays and anniversaries.
Yes. Month and day names can be in English or French, and weeks can start on Sunday or Monday.
The wall calendar comes in 11 × 8.5 in or 12 × 12 in, with the photo above each month and a wire binding to hang it. The desk calendar is 8 × 6 in and stands on its own, with a new photo every month.
